The Kobe University was established in 1949 with the core principles of integrity, sincerity, freedom and cooperation in the academics. The university’s mission is to create knowledge and originate as the global center for co-creation research and education. The institution offers courses in multiple disciplines that include human sciences, intercultural studies, human development, law, economics, business administration, science, medicine, engineering, agriculture and maritime science. The 3,734 staff members, including professors, associate professors and administrative officials help train more than 16,000 students the 14 graduate schools and 11 undergraduate faculties the institution incorporates in its academics.
