Fatima Alsaleh

Dr. Fatima Alsaleh is a Professor in the Department of Transport Engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Aleppo, Syria. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Middle East Technical University (Turkey, 2004). With over two decades of academic, research, and managerial experience, Dr. Alsaleh has served as Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and has led major national research projects on recycling construction rubble, sustainable building materials, and environmental waste management. Her expertise spans coastal engineering, transportation, sustainable construction, rehabilitation of structures, and environmental engineering. She has numerous publications in international journals, active involvement in post-disaster rebuilding, and significant professional experience in environmental and infrastructure projects across Syria. Dr. Alsaleh is fluent in Arabic, English, and Turkish.
