👥 Editorial Role & Responsibilities
🔍 Manuscript Assessment
- Ensure submitted manuscripts align with the journal’s scope and standards.
- Conduct an initial quality and relevance screening before peer review.
- Assign manuscripts to qualified reviewers (minimum 2–3), ensuring expertise match.
🕵️♂️ Uphold Peer Review Integrity
- Manage the double-blind peer review process fairly and confidentially.
- Ensure timely feedback to authors (standard turnaround: 10–14 days).
- Encourage constructive, unbiased, and ethical reviewer feedback.
✅ Decision-Making
- Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on reviewer reports and manuscript merit.
- Make editorial decisions transparently and communicate them with professionalism.
📢 Content Contribution & Engagement
- Publish an Editorial, Review, or Expert Insight at least once every 3–4 months.
- Help attract high-quality submissions through academic networks and referrals.
- Suggest special issues or thematic collections based on current trends.
📬 Communication & Collaboration
- Maintain responsive communication with editorial office and co-editors.
- Notify the editorial team if unavailable to handle an assigned manuscript.
- Participate in editorial board meetings or strategy sessions, if applicable.
🔐 Ethical & Legal Oversight
- Ensure all articles meet ethical guidelines, including consent, confidentiality, and data integrity.
- Uphold neutrality and refrain from discrimination based on gender, race, religion, political beliefs, or affiliations.

- Be proactive in identifying emerging research trends and advising on journal development.
- Ensure plagiarism screening and originality checks are verified for every accepted manuscript.
- Promote published articles through academic forums, conferences, and networks.
- Encourage diversity and inclusion in author and reviewer engagement.
