Empowering Global Access Through Flexible Publishing Support

JISDCES is committed to inclusive scholarly communication by offering waiver and discount options for authors with financial constraints. Our goal is to ensure that high-quality, interdisciplinary research reaches the world—regardless of funding limitations.

At the Journal of Interdisciplinary Social, Digital, Creative & Engineering Studies (JISDCES), we recognize that access to publication should not be limited by financial constraints. In alignment with our mission to foster inclusive and global knowledge-sharing, we offer a generous and transparent waiver policy to support authors with limited funding.

Eligibility for Waiver

We provide APC (Article Processing Charge) waivers or discounts to authors based on the World Bank Country Income Classification:

  • Up to 75% waiver for authors from Low-Income Countries
  • Up to 40% waiver for authors from Lower Middle-Income Countries

Authors from other regions facing genuine financial hardship may also request partial fee support, assessed on a case-by-case basis.

How to Apply

To request a waiver, authors must:

  • Submit a formal waiver request via email to: [email protected]
  • Include the following details:
    • Manuscript Title and Submission Number (if available)
    • Author’s country and institution
    • A brief explanation of the financial situation or funding limitation

Important Notes

  • All waiver requests must be made at the time of submission or before peer review begins.
  • Waiver decisions are made within 5–7 business days by the editorial/finance team.
  • The quality and scientific merit of a manuscript are never influenced by a waiver request.
