Editorial and Publication Ethics Policy
The Journal of Interdisciplinary Social, Digital, Creative & Engineering Studies (JISDCES) is committed to upholding the highest standards of editorial integrity and publication ethics. We align our practices with international guidelines, including those recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), to ensure transparency, fairness, and accountability in all stages of the editorial process.
Authorship & Contributions
Only individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the development of a manuscript should be listed as authors. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to be accountable for its content. Contributions from individuals or institutions not meeting the authorship criteria should be acknowledged under a separate Acknowledgments section. Any change in authorship after submission requires written consent from all involved parties and must be approved by the editor.
Editorial Oversight
Submissions to JISDCES are evaluated by editors for scope, originality, clarity, and ethical compliance. Every manuscript is subjected to a double-blind peer review, where identities of authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure unbiased assessment. Editors make publication decisions based on reviewer feedback and overall merit, and may reject submissions that do not meet our scholarly or ethical standards.
Conflicts of Interest
Authors, editors, and reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest that could influence the review or publication process. If there are no conflicts, a clear statement should be included in the manuscript. Editors will recuse themselves from handling submissions where any perceived conflict exists.
Confidentiality
All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential material. Editorial team members, reviewers, and staff are expected to maintain the confidentiality of manuscript content throughout the review and publication process. Manuscript information will only be disclosed in cases where ethical concerns require institutional or legal involvement.
Misconduct & Ethics
JISDCES strictly prohibits plagiarism, data fabrication, image manipulation, duplicate publication, and other forms of unethical research behavior. Suspected misconduct will be investigated in accordance with COPE guidelines, and appropriate actions such as retraction, correction, or editorial expression of concern will be taken when necessary.
Corrections & Retractions
Post-publication, any major errors or necessary updates should be reported to the editorial office. Minor corrections will be made to the article, while significant corrections will be published as separate notices. Retractions will be issued in cases of proven misconduct, unreliable findings, or ethical violations.
