Ning Baoquan
Summary
Ning Baoquan is a Professor and Dean of the School of Mathematics and Statistics at Liupanshui Normal University, China. He earned his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Harbin Normal University in 2005, his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Kunming University of Science and Technology in 2008, and his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Sichuan Normal University in 2024.
His primary research interests include uncertain and fuzzy decision-making, multi-attribute group decision-making (MAGDM), complex system evaluation, and educational measurement. Over the past decade, he has published more than 70 academic papers, with over 30 appearing in high-impact SCI and SSCI journals such as Expert Systems with Applications, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence, International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, and International Journal of Machine Learning and Cybernetics. He has also supervised English-language publications and actively promotes international collaboration.
Professor Ning is an accomplished inventor, holding over 70 authorized patents as first inventor. He has led or participated in more than 50 national, provincial, and ministerial research projects, including projects funded by the National Social Science Foundation of China and the Guizhou Provincial Science and Technology Department.
Beyond research, he serves as Executive Director of the Guizhou Mathematical Society and Council Member of the Guizhou Applied Statistics Society. He has been recognized as a high-level innovative talent in Guizhou Province, an academic leader of Liupanshui Normal University, and has received multiple honors such as “Excellent Communist Party Member” and “Outstanding Teacher.” His academic leadership and contributions reflect a strong commitment to advancing mathematical research, education, and regional development.Editorial Board Member
